Emanating Ailments

Emanating Ailments is an immersive installation with various wax elements that intrude on the audiences sense of space. Based on an autonomic nervous system disorder, this installation affects every aspect of the audience when they explore the space just as the disorder affects every aspect of an affected persons body. The position of the wax strings forces the audience to bend down and get up several times which is an action that negatively impacts a person with this disorder.
