Is this enough? is a series of sculpture of a head made out of wax and/or bronze. The head has been manipulated to show the chronic pain of the artist. Chronic illnesses are often internal and unseen, therefore ignored and untreated. Is this enough? shows the internal pain many suffer from externally and asks the audience if it is enough. Through the connection of material, this series shows how some pain may be temporary like wax, or chronic and enduring like bronze. Now that the pain is visible is it enough to be taken seriously?
