Ephemeral vs Eternal

Ephemeral versus Eternal is a life size bust made entirely out of wax. Originally this sculpture was melted in front of an audience as a performance piece to highlight on the inherent ephemerality of the human experience and the artifacts we leave behind. This work now acts as an artifact of this performance and an independent sculpture to confront people with their ephemerality and mortality.
